Alex is a founding partner of Maccini Voccio & Jordan, LLC, with 25 years of litigation experience.

Alex regularly defends Connecticut municipalities, boards of education, private corporations, and individual employees, in a myriad of employment related matters arising under both federal and state law, including claims of employment discrimination, harassment, retaliation, breach of contract, wage and hour violations, and wrongful termination. 

Alex also defends public officials and boards of education against discrimination claims brought on the behalf of students pursuant to the Americans with Disabilities Act, the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act, Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, and Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972, as well as state law claims of bullying.

Alex handles matters pending before the Connecticut Commission on Human Rights and Opportunities and the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, in addition to her representation of clients in both state and federal court. She practices both at the trial court and appellate court levels. She has also represented clients before the U.S. Department of Education Office of Civil Rights and the Connecticut Department of Labor.
